HomeHygge is a bespoke furniture workshop. We design and build furniture made to measure for the exact space: custom kitchens, sliding-door wardrobes, walk-in closets and children's furniture. We don't force your home to fit ready-made modules — instead we build the furniture around your walls, niches and habits.
Custom kitchens
A custom kitchen starts not with the door fronts but with the layout. We look at where your window is, where the utilities run, how you cook and what you store — and only then work out the work triangle, the worktop height and the cabinet fittings. Next we choose materials: painted fronts, MDF, foil, veneer or premium Niemann fronts. We fit Blum hardware. Worktops — laminate board, compact laminate, solid surface or wood, depending on budget.
Sliding-door wardrobes & walk-in closets
A made-to-measure sliding-door wardrobe is, above all, about precise measurement. We build the wardrobe into the niche, right up to the ceiling, with no gaps at the side and no dust traps on top. Inside it is not an empty box but a considered layout: rails, shelves, pull-out baskets, shoe racks, top boxes. A walk-in closet is the same approach, just with more room. Built-in furniture is almost always better value than freestanding units.
Contract, guarantee and installation
Every order is put in writing: the contract sets out materials, hardware, dimensions, timelines and the guarantee. We are a furniture workshop with no middlemen, so we work on a price-to-quality basis. Delivery and installation are turnkey; we clean up after ourselves once everything is fitted. We stay available for advice even after installation.
Where we work
Our workshop is based in Svendborg on Funen. We travel across all of Denmark to take measurements.
