Custom kitchens in Denmark

We design the kitchen around your layout, not around a catalogue of modules. A designer visits with samples, takes precise measurements and prepares a 3D visualisation — and only then an exact price.

What's included

How we do it

01

Layout around you

We work out the work triangle, worktop height and cabinet fittings around how you actually cook and what you store.

02

Fronts

Painted, MDF, foil, veneer or premium Niemann — chosen to fit your budget and interior style.

03

Blum hardware

Soft-close mechanisms that don't work loose after a year, and drawers that take real loads.

04

Worktop

Laminate board, compact laminate, solid surface or wood — depending on budget and use.

05

Built-in appliances

We account for the dimensions of your appliances and the utilities at the design stage.

06

Contract and guarantee

Materials, dimensions, timelines and guarantee — on paper, with no 'it got more expensive along the way'.

How we make a custom kitchen

A custom kitchen starts not with the fronts but with the layout. Before we talk about colours, we look at where your window is, where the utilities come out, which side is convenient for the sink and how much storage you really need. Only then do we work out the 'sink–hob–fridge' work triangle, the worktop height for your height and the cabinet fittings.

Front materials

Painted fronts give an even, deep colour and any shade from the RAL catalogue, but need care in use. Foil-wrapped MDF is the most affordable solution, with a wide choice of decors. Veneer gives a natural wood texture. Premium Niemann fronts are for when you need above-average texture and durability. We show samples in hand during the measurement, so you see the material in real life, not on a screen.

Hardware and mechanisms

We fit Blum hardware. This isn't marketing: cheap runners sag within a year, and soft-close stops closing softly. Blum withstands daily opening for years. Inside the kitchen you can build in pull-out larders, corner mechanisms for 'dead' zones, lift-ups for upper fronts, drawer organisers and built-in waste systems.

Worktop

Laminate board is the basic option and works well with careful use. Compact laminate is thinner and more moisture-resistant. Solid surface lets you make a seamless worktop with an integrated sink. Wood looks warm but needs maintenance. We choose according to how you cook: if the kitchen is hot and humid every day, we don't recommend the basic option.

How much a custom kitchen costs

Honestly: it's impossible to name a kitchen price before the measurement. Any 'from' figure in an advert is marketing, because the cost depends on length and layout, front and carcass materials, worktop, hardware and built-in appliances. We first come out, measure, show decor samples and make a 3D visualisation — and only then name a sum. The designer visit commits you to nothing.

Timelines and installation

Timelines are fixed in the contract after the measurement, once the configuration and material availability are known. Delivery and installation are turnkey. After fitting we clean up after ourselves rather than leaving bags of sawdust in the hallway. If a soft-close needs adjusting a year later — call us; we advise after installation too.

Where to order a kitchen

Our workshop is based in Svendborg on Funen. We travel across all of Denmark to take measurements.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How long does a custom kitchen take to make?

It depends on the complexity of the project and material availability — usually 3 to 6 weeks. We fix the exact timeline in the contract after the measurement, not 'by eye' over the phone.

How does the designer visit and measurement work?

The designer comes with decor samples, takes precise measurements and makes a 3D visualisation. The visit and measurement are a paid service — ask for the price by phone. Ordering afterwards commits you to nothing.

Why is the measurement paid?

A measurement isn't 15 minutes with a tape. The designer comes to the site, takes dimensions relative to the utilities, selects decor and hardware, then draws up a sketch and a full project ready to hand to production. Altogether that's 3–4 hours of work — and it's exactly what makes it possible to name a real price rather than a 'from' figure from an advert. You can get a rough estimate straight away, without a measurement — call or message us on Viber or WhatsApp.

Can I order a kitchen for appliances I've already bought?

Yes. It is even more convenient: we account for the exact dimensions of your appliances and the utility positions at the design stage.

What guarantee is there on the kitchen?

The guarantee is set out in the contract along with materials, hardware, dimensions and timelines. We advise you even after the guarantee period ends.

Do you work with prepayment?

Yes; with prepayment we always draw up a contract that fixes materials, hardware, dimensions, timelines and guarantee.
